Our Erev Shabbat services take place on Friday evenings at 6:15 p.m. They are preceded by an Oneg Shabbat. There are special Erev Shabbat services throughout the year such as our Brotherhood Shabbat, Women of Har Sinai Congregation (WoHSC) Shabbat, Social Action Shabbat and HaSTY-led Shabbat. Once a month, we hold our Shabbat Rocks! service, a festive, visual T’filah service with our in-house rock band, CHAI-JINX, featuring contemporary rock, folk and bluegrass music. Shabbat Rocks! is always followed by a lovely and delicious Family Shabbat Dinner. Shabbat Unplugged services are held throughout the year and feature voices accompanied by acoustic instruments. Menschkin Minyan, our Tot Shabbat, takes place the first Friday of each month. Prayers, singing, movement and stories engage our youngest audiences. Every Saturday morning, we hold Torah Study at 9:00 a.m. At 10:30, our Shabbat Morning Services begin, blending traditional and contemporary worship styles.
